Ants, Ants Go Away, Come Again Another Day…Well, Not Really!
Ok, so I was reminded of the nice little children’s rhyme while titling this article but our region has recently been inundated with ants, even in our own home. The last couple of years have been particularly bad for ants. The main thing we can attribute this to is the heavy rains in Middle Tennessee. Of course, last year we suffered through the historic flood. Some had complete devastation while others dealt with nuisances such as ants. Thankfully, we’ve not had another historic flood event however we’ve still had a significant amount of rain. And guess what? Rain drives ants into your home. And my home. They don’t discriminate. Andy has treated our home twice so far for ants. For now they seem to be under control and I’m hoping they stay that way!
So for those of you that have had us come out for more than one visit to treat ants, rest assured that you’re not alone. I know it’s hard to take comfort in that when it seems an endless amount of troops are marching into your kitchen or bathroom or on your windowsill.
Just remember that since we don’t require contracts then if a one time service works for your ants that’s great! But if not, we will discount your monthly follow up service and your ants should be managed within 2-3 consecutive visits. If you have any questions about your particular case or want to schedule an ant treatment, please contact the office at 615-382-9774 or email me at julie@pestinc.net.
